Sorry, who are you?
I heard otherwise. I heard the OP was the worst post in the thread. Dark Aura is stupid without Mark of Prot. Who would want to sac health for no reason, at melee range? zzzzz.

Hehe, that reminds me of Sand Shard Sins. Same idea- you 'fail' and kill everything around you.
Seriously now, if someone creates a viable build around this I'll take my hats off and then go play it until it gets nerfed 10 minutes later.

Well, I've tried some shit. Not a single prot keeps U alive.
Not MoP, not Shield, Absorption or anythign else. Couldn't be asked to try Heal Seed or Hands.
I did, however, try Glyph of Renewal Divine intervention.
That sheit worked half decently, as I was able to kill the 100 target without dying (It only keeps U alive like an extra 5 seconds)

It looks and sounds kind of crap, but I haven't seen it in practice. I wouldn't write it off right away though...there were a lot of "well respected" PvP players saying the original spike wasn't "neccessarily overpowered" even though it was one of the most broken things the game has ever seen.

Yeah, 530 damage per second aoe. What's overpowered about that? Weird they fixed it really.

It was fun catching the N/As with MoP but not SB on them, and shattering just watching them explode.
But it was IMBA as hell.

I ran that once in TA and got a glad. That's probably the most feasable adaptation of this build (or at least the most feasable one I've seen). At least this way, you get Heal Sac across two people instead of just one who's extremely vulnerable. Nova provides cover enchants across the group. The dedicated snarer means you can get at least 2-3 people in your mass at once making for a pretty powerful spike but the problem is that, if you don't wipe the opposing team fast, you get wiped if there's even an iota of Rend/Gaze. Still, I'm sure with more tweaking, there's potential.
